CES 2009 brought us a new player in the Smart Phone Category, the Palm PRE.  It features a multi-touch screen similar to that of Apple’s iPhone  but Apple executives has stated  that they will sue anyone they feel has stolen their intellectual property. This made alot of people think that they were referring to PRE. Palm doesn’t seem worried about any potential legal action from Apple.
